Feeling like a school girl

Post  shellybee on Fri 26 Jun 2009, 3:56 pm

Very Happy Yes I'm 36 and feel like a school girl! I haven't done this kinda stuff since I was a teenager. He just lures you in and before you know it you are hooked Razz Again I am so happy to have found this site, everyone is so nice and welcoming and EVERYONE here understands what it's like to be obsessed and gaga dance machine over David. I recently bought a T-shirt that says I have OCDCD. Needing a daily dose. Well wishing everyone a great weekend! cookie

Were you at Pearl Street?

I can tell by your avatar! I was there! I was the girl with the REALLY tall hubby in the audience that DC talked to. He asked if he was "standing on a soap box and it must suck to be the people behind you!" I was also the crazy lady who yelled "I Love you David" in the middle of "Lie" and he said "I love you too" and the crowd went crazy!

I couldn't believe how close I was to him when he walked out of the back entrance. I could have touched him, but didn't want to invade his space. Plus I don't think my husband would have liked it if I stopped washing my hands! lol.

ShellyBee~ I was talking to my 29 year old daughter yesterday, going on and on about how excited I am the David Cook is finally coming to Seattle!! She was like "uh huh, that's cool mom". And I went on about going to other venues and finally I said "Okay, so I'm 23 again!" That is what David has done for all of us, it is a strange and wonderful phenomenon. And yes, family and friends think we have lost our minds, and what a fine place to be lost in! welcome to the madness!! As said before, you are in good company! group hug
I was one of the blessed, to have a close encounter with HRL, an event that will live on in my heart forever! It was after the AI concert, just in the right place at the right time. I don't think there's a secret formula, if there was we'd all make sure we knew what it was!!
